The vision behind the image:
Life and Death go hand in hand.
In life there are many hidden mysteries and in death we only know of theories. The "Gaze of Mithra" portrays the connection between the two worlds.
The skull represents the human spirit in its cellular form that travels between consciousness and unconsciousness in the sea of life.
The sun at the top represents the source of life and the two ibexes represent the pride of life. The eagles represent strength and the snakes portray the wisdom.
Life is a crazy joy ride in which we sometimes encounter thorns. It is a humbling and chilling experience. We are caught up in our lives and lives of others that we have met along this lonely journey and ultimately what matters to each of us is different.
The journey could be fulfilling or a waste of time. It is up to each of us to determine whether we make it a tasteful experience.
